Mulholland Drive [2001]

Anyone seen this? It's an ever changing mystery of a film. Terrifying yet intriguing; paroxysmal yet calm. Adjective A - yet adjective B.

Anybody seen it? It's got a lot of fan theories, not the least of which is the Wizard of Oz.

My own: Naomi/Betty is a lesbian, and was cut-off from her family at a young age, going to live with her grandparents who sexually abuse her. When the grandmother died, and/or Betty turned eighteen, she moved to Hollywood to become The Greatest Actress Ever and forget her life of abuse; this is her dream, in which she is Dianne, becomes famous, has an affair with her Director, etc. In reality, she live in squalor and doesn't get any parts, let alone an agent. She falls in love with a woman [Rita/Camille in dream], who leaves her, and finally her stress and break from reality results in her suicide.
Lesbians - we're everywhere.
